Imposter Scams & Phishing

Scammers may attempt to impersonate BookFlow Publishing editors, publishing consultants, or executives. These individuals often contact authors through unofficial channels such as personal emails, social media direct messages, Telegram, or WhatsApp, offering publishing deals or demanding payment for services.

How to Verify BookFlow Publishing Communications

To avoid falling victim to publishing scams, please keep the following security guidelines in mind:

• Official Email Domains: All official communications from BookFlow Publishing will come from email addresses ending strictly in @bookflowpublishing.com. We never use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or other public domain addresses.
• Official Contact Channels: We do not conduct business negotiations or ask for financial details solely over Telegram, WhatsApp, or other private messaging platforms.
• Payments: BookFlow Publishing will never ask you to send money via untraceable payment methods, such as gift cards, personal wire transfers (Western Union/MoneyGram), or cryptocurrency. All official invoice payments are processed securely through our corporate payment gateway.

Common Red Flags to Watch Out For

• Unsolicited "guaranteed publishing" offers without an editorial review or analysis of your manuscript.
• Extreme pressure to pay immediately to take advantage of a "limited-time discount" or "priority package".
